Habersham
Habersham is a new waterfront community located within a former antebellum plantation. The classically inspired town plan integrates homes within walking distance of a traditional town center consisting of shops, cafes, offices, and public squares. An island activities center, community dock, parks, and a Lowcountry Inn will also be within walking distance.
Davis & Floyd has been involved with Habersham since its inception. We assisted with site master planning as well as preparation for and offering of engineering support for multiple phases of development. We have provided design, permitting, and construction management services for more than 16 miles of roads and alleys; four pump stations; six large ponds; pool complex; 10-acre recreation complex; multiple parks; and water and sewer to serve more than 700 homes with plans to add another 500. This project was voted “Best Neighborhood” in 2005 by Professional Builder magazine and the National Association of Home Builders and was named number four out of 20 “Best Places to Live on the Coast 2018” by Coastal Living Magazine.
