NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (February 22, 2019) — Davis & Floyd, Inc. is pleased to announce that Michael Putnam, PE, CFM, stormwater discipline leader/senior civil engineer, has been promoted to an associate of the firm.
Putnam joined Davis & Floyd in 2006 after receiving his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and Master of Science in civil engineering, applied fluid mechanics, from Clemson University. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
Specializing in hydrology and hydraulics, Putnam provides modeling for flood hazard studies; bridge and culvert design; scour analyses; stormwater pumping stations; stormwater conveyance systems and tunnels; and complex stormwater routing conditions. He also is skilled in the layout and design of surface collection piping and utility conflict avoidance.
