Objectives

Greer CPW selected Davis & Floyd to rehabilitate or replace Wards Creek outfall trunk sewer built in 1912.

Scope

Involved reviewing line videos, field investigating, and determining the best method for rehabilitation or replacement

Included approximately 13,000 linear feet of 15”-21” sewer trunk line and approximately 70 manholes paralleling the north side of Wards Creek

Provided survey, design, project management, permitting, right-of-way acquisition assistance, bidding, and construction management services

Challenges

Coordinated with SCDOT for road closures and rebuilding of roads due to line locations in several areas

Outcome

After much investigation, the team decided to rehabilitate Wards Creek sewer, which provided necessary improvements to the system.
